During this interactive session, we’ll learn how to overcome fear, develop a long-term supportive mindset, and how to take productive steps to gain confidence in new tech industry skills. We’ll spend time discussing what we are actually fearing, how fear affects us getting what we really want, and giving space to acknowledge and accept fear for what it truly is in our life. From there, we will learn about how to turn fear into empowering fearlessness, and how to “self-coach” ourselves when doubt creeps in. Lastly, we’ll discuss how to create confidence (even in skillsets that feel new and underdeveloped) and end on a number of tactical strategies that folks can implement right away to increase their self-worth and confidence in their new industry.
