The Brem Foundation's work saves lives and focuses on detecting breast cancer early - when it’s most treatable and survival rates are highest.
In March, the COVID-19 pandemic brought breast cancer screening to a halt. When restrictions are lifted, there will be a crush of women in urgent need of screening and diagnostic tests. Many of these women will have lost their jobs and health coverage. Breast centers will be overwhelmed by the backlog. There will be higher costs, later stage diagnoses, and less ability to afford care.
All of the funds raised from this series will support the Brem COVID-19 Emergency Initiative, helping the most vulnerable women get crucial breast diagnostic and screening tests.
