Community Coordinator

Status: Part-time, Hourly Pay

EvolveHer is looking a part-time Community Coordinator to serve as the primary point of contact for current members and to engage prospective members by giving tours and sharing the EvolveHer story at events. The ideal candidate wants to be part of creating change in our community and helping drive true equity & equality for all. This person thrives in a fast paced environment, has an interest in gaining exposure to various aspects of the business and is capable of prioritizing tasks.

Duties: 

  • Serve as primary point person for EvolveHer members 
  • Cover the front desk
  • Greet & check-in members 
  • Communicate upcoming events & updates to members 
  • Point person for on-site member & guest questions/needs
  • Assist EH team with member and event tours
  • Provides members with a friendly, inviting and consistent experience day-to-day 
  • Basic CRM data input
  • Basic Troubleshooting (i.e. printer, microphones, member questions)
  • Work with the building staff and partners (cleaning, utilities) to ensure space is well maintained to deliver exceptional experience to members. 
  • Manage supply orders, administrative responsibilities, office management/maintenance and member services. 
  • Continued knowledge of EvolveHer values, space logistics and events in order to always be able to answer member and potential new member inquiries 
  • Assist with social media for EvolveHer in partnership with the marketing team & social media agency which includes: 
    • Weekly EH & Member Event Insta Stories
    • Coverage of live events in Instagram stories 
  • Assist with events (i.e. set-up/strike, logistics, marketing)
  • Assist with marketing materials (i.e. e-newsletter, site updates, ordering, etc)
  • Assist with calendar management
  • Assist CEO with special projects
  • Mail & Package Handling
  • Maintain knowledge of offerings, partnerships and Chicago women’s community

Requirements 

  • Extremely detailed oriented and organized 
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficient in G Suite, Microsoft Office, Canva (Photoshop, Illustrator, Hubspot are a plus!) 
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with a team 
  • Ability to connect well with a diverse group of people; warm and approachable 
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems and prioritize tasks
  • Flexibility to work various hours (early AM/evenings), days, weekends, holidays as needed
  • Passion for ensuring member satisfaction & providing excellent hospitality at all times
  • Must have a positive attitude and work as a team player 
  • Must be flexible with tasks changing from day to day 
  • Must be able to lift/carry a minimum of 35lbs
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time

Hospitality Intern/ Event Coordinator

EvolveHer is a creative work & event space designed for women. We pride ourselves in providing our community of members with personalized connections and resources to help advance them in their career and life. We believe in collaboration over competition and partner with numerous organizations, women’s groups and corporations to curate the best events and access for our members. 

EvolveHer is seeking a motivated Events intern to join the team. who will support the event team in all aspects of event production, sales, execution, logistics, set-up/strike and post-analysis.

Duties:

  • Assist in processing inbound event leads
  • Input event details into CRM and outline action items 
  • Create Event Run of Show
  • Assist in production of curated experiences for corporate clients
  • Work with 3rd party vendors to deliver client needs for each event
  • Learn AV & Technology equipment for event set-up
  • Work closely with the on-site teams to execute events smoothly and flawlessly including setup and teardown 
  • Assist with event planning and execution from start to finish
  • Act as point person for location based logistics
  • An open and friendly attitude in event check-in and front desk management
  • Ability to create timelines and run of show documents 
  • Flexibility in managing other duties as they arise
  • Knowledge of CRMs and Canva are preferred, but not required

Qualifications:

  • Must be currently enrolled in college and entering third year of college or beyond
  • Available for night, weekend and/or day time events
  • Strong detail, organizational and administrative skills
  • Hospitality background and/or knowledge
  • Thrive in fast-paced environment and have a can-do attitude
  • Ability to troubleshoot any issues and find solutions
  • Proficient in GSuite
  • Preferred, but not required:
  • Social media knowledge of event coverage and/or photography experience

 

Graphic Designer Intern

Location: River North, Chicago, IL 

Commitment: Full-Time/Part Time

EvolveHer is a creative work & event space designed for women. We believe in collaboration over competition and partner with numerous organizations, women’s groups and corporations to curate the best events and access for our members. 

EvolveHer is seeking a motivated intern to join the team. The production intern will primarily focus on developing creative assets for marketing materials, site updates, social media and corporate clients.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: 

  • Creative assets for EvolveHer Member & Partner Events for social media, newsletter, website and other marketing outlets
  • Support team in tracking creative and photography assets from EH events and for EH clients
  • Create & organize photography library
  • Creation of Marketing Flyers and Signage
  • Customization of client decks & presentations
  • Support in documentation of specs for signage, digital media, marketing materials for record keeping purposes
  • Photography, Videography and/or Editing skills are a plus, but not required.
  • Assist CEO with special projects
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Requirements 

  • Extremely detailed-driven, organized and have multitasking skills with a can-do attitude
  • Must be a team player and have exceptional project management skills
  • Proficient in G Suite, Canva & Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with a team

Social Media Intern

We believe in collaboration over competition and partner with numerous organizations, women’s groups and corporations to curate the best events and access for our members. 

EvolveHer is seeking a creative, entrepreneurial social media intern to join the team. This position will assist with ideation, social content planning, scheduling, post creation & posting, event coverage stories, community managing, sourcing content and organizing assets on the drive. 

Duties:

  • Assist in brainstorming new content 
  • Assist in writing copy and post planning
  • Source photos 
  • Assist in our ambassador communication, management and photo shoots
  • Organize client & partner social assets
  • Work with marketing team to schedule posts
  • Have a clear understanding of the EvolveHer brand voice & tone
  • Work with 3rd party vendors to deliver client needs for each event
  • Knowledge of Canva, Photoshop, Hubspot are a plus.
