Commitment: 10-18 Hours Per Week

Join EvolveHer, a unique community workspace for women. We strive to promote a collaborative atmosphere for our team and members, where positive vibes, creativity, community, empowerment, and dependability are our core. This is a place to learn about women-driven business and expand your knowledge in event planning, marketing and/or social media promotion.

Interns join a group of vibrant women from various career backgrounds. You will be responsible for specific tasks tailored to your interests. We also encourage you to brainstorm and create for our space – and join us for our monthly meetings where we share our ideas for EvolveHer. We expect you to be strong, dependable team members who are able and willing to promote the good vibes and community feel of our space.


● Daily check-in with Community Manager or Senior Lead on-site

● Support membership, partnerships, events and marketing teams

● Coordinate event logistics working with the Event Management team

● Front desk management

● Assist with creation of marketing collateral


● Strong interest in events, marketing and social media

● Computer literacy

● Communicate effectively and warmly

● Follow directions and demonstrate initiative

● Ability to work in various work settings

● Preferred but not needed: photography, photoshop, canva skills

● Legal right to work in the United States

COmmunity Manager

Location: River North, Chicago, IL

Commitment: Part Time


Join EvolveHer, a unique community workspace for women. We strive to promote a collaborative atmosphere for our team and members, where positive vibes, creativity, community, empowerment, and dependability are our core. EvolveHer is looking for an experienced, reliable community manager to help grow, build, and manage communications in both directions. The community manager acts as the face and voice of our brand, be self-motivated, and capable of prioritizing tasks in a fast paced environment.



  • Liaison between members and EvolveHer team and act as in-house point of contact for all members. Various other duties to ensure a seamless member experience, including:
    • Checking Members In/Out
    • Troubleshooting technology problems
  • Answer member queries, and/or connecting members with the appropriate point of contact  
  • Manage, oversee and lead new membership, member tours, and member sign up  
  • Strategize ideas to retain members & incentivize growth
  • Sit at the front desk to greet members, check them in and assist with any ongoing questions
  • Constantly checking on members to ensure all members are welcomed, toured, and comfortable in the space
  • Support member use of space, and ensure members are aligned with House Rules and Code of Conduct. Provide members with a friendly, inviting and consistent experience day-to-day
  • Book Member Events, specifically monthly Member Breakfast and Happy Hours. (Work with the partnerships team to find sponsors for member events.)
  • Post events on EvolveHer site and social channels.
  • Work with the building staff and partners (cleaning, utilities) to ensure space is well maintained
  • Manage supply orders, administrative responsibilities, office management/maintenance and member services.
  • Continued knowledge of EvolveHer values, space logistics and goings-on in order to always be able to answer member and potential new member inquiries
  • Manage social media for EvolveHer in partnership with the marketing team & social media agency which includes:
    • Prioritization of member events and members to be highlighted in social media
    • Coverage of live events in Instagram stories
  • Serve as lead between PR team and Alicia Driskill for any press related inquiries.
  • Opportunity to assist in editing or posting articles to the glu as the platform evolves.



  • Master at G Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Extremely detailed oriented and organized
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with a team
  • Ability to connect well with a diverse group of people; warm and approachable
  • Ability to work in the space 5 days/week during the day and work a minimum of 4 events per month
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems and prioritize
  • Passion for ensuring member satisfaction and providing excellent hospitality at all times
    • Point person for member rules enforcement
    • Respond to member/prospective member emails
