What does a day at Future Female Founders look like?

9:00-10:30: Wellness

We learn the value of wellness while working towards their goals and how to incorporate tools such as yoga, dance and journaling into their day to day lives.

10:30 - 11:30: Values & Identity

We explore the attributes that make up our identity and how they shape our values through games and interactive group activities.

11:30 - 12:00: Strengths

Using our Prismatic Insight Card game, we learn our strengths and explore how they bring values to our peers and collaborators.

12:00 - 1:30: Mission & Business Exploration

With the guidance of a panel of female professionals, we use our identity, strengths and values to craft our own personal mission statement. Then, through an interactive brainstorming session we select one business idea that supports our mission that we’d like to explore.

1:30 - 2:00: Lunch & Networking

We share a lunch (provided by EvolveHer Future) while getting to know students from other schools and our team of female mentors.

2:00 - 3:45: Business Basics

Led by a team of professionals working in their respective fields, we learn the basics of...

  • budgeting by creating a basic startup budget with expenses and projected revenue

  • marketing by exploring both free and paid channels of launching a new idea into the marketplace,

  • And leadership by learning our personal leadership style and the attributes that make a great leader.

3:45 - 5:00: Lean Business Plan

We wrap up our day by applying our new knowledge of mission, vision, business, leadership, budgeting and marketing to create a lean business plan as well as an action plan for our next steps.

* All Future Female Founders students will also have the opportunity to apply for our Student Ambassador Program featuring ongoing mentorship and exclusive teen startup events!
