OVERVIEW

Keynote: Crisis Leadership. Learnings from Senator Tammy Duckworth

During times of crisis, heroes rise to the highest levels of leadership. US Senator Tammy Duckworth is one of these heroes. As an Iraq War Veteran, a Purple Heart Recipient and former Assistant Secretary of the US Department of Veteran Affairs, she was among the first of a handful of women to fly combat missions and retired with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. She was elected into the US Senate after two terms in the US House of Representatives and has been active on numerous influential committees including the Small Business and Entrepreneurship Committee and the subcommittee on Information Technology.
